-Middlesbrough vs Sheffield United-
Middlesbrough aren't looking too great for this game in my opinion. I've always thought of them as an inconsistent team who can fall asleep during a game or wake up and give you a beat down. They will be missing Aliadiere and will also be missing numerous others through injury. Sheff United are looking pretty healthy for this game and I think they will put up a good fight to advance. I'm sticking with the away team in this one.

-Inter Milan vs Roma-
Inter Milan has been on a tear in Serie A for the last couple of years but I think Roma are going to put a dent in their confidence in this game. For one, Roma are the last team to beat Inter Milan at home, and I believe they have the capabilities to do it again. For two, Inter is really injured up right now. They are missing two very big players in Ibrahimovic and Julio Cruz and as it showed in their last game, they have trouble scoring without them. I think Roma fans are going to be the ones singing at the end of the game here and I'm sticking to them.

Palermo have been making defensive mistakes lately and Empoli have proven that they are able to find the back of the net, scoring 5 goals in their last two games. I think that both teams are going to score here as it should be more of an open game. I'm sticking with the over in this one.

-Lazio vs Reggina-
Lazio fans are getting crazy on them and apparently they are very upset at their loss to Cagliari. Reggina will be missing their top scorer in Amoruso as well as Lanzaro in defense. This is pretty much a must win game for Lazio as they have a hard line of teams to face after this, so they should take full advantage of it. I'm sticking to the home win and the over.

-Barcelona vs Valencia-
I'm going to put a unit on the over here. Barcelona have found their scoring ability back and Valencia seem to do better in these cup games rather than the league. Hopefully its a very open game.
